The famous producer can be seen handing backpacks to people inside the church, and says he is committed to help “ease the struggle of the less fortunate individuals living on Skid Row, stimulating hope and a presence of love and appreciation.” We’re told Mally Mall and his team realized the homeless population may be one of the top “at-risk” parts of our community and felt we needed to start doing something to help them. The producer also made an appearance at the ‘Open Door Skid Row Ministry’ which operates the sidewalk church in downtown Los Angeles. The Open Door Skid Row Ministry, founded by Evangelist Geraldine Hughes, conducts sidewalk worship services every week. The gatherings include prayer, praise and worship, sermon, and end with a hot meal for those in attendance. The ministry is known for distributing “clothes, blankets, shoes, socks, sleeping bags and toiletries,” and Mally decided to donate his time and money to their cause.
